NMMS Scholarship for Jharkhand Students 2024-25

The Ministry of Education (MoE), Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India, has implemented the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Scheme to identify talented but underprivileged students and offer financial aid for their further education.

Eligibility Criteria for NMMS Jharkhand 2024-25

• The students studying in class 8th are eligible to apply for NMMS.
• Passed Class 7th with a score of at least 55% or equivalent.
• Students should be enrolled in government/local bodies/government-aided schools.
• The family income of the students should not exceed 3.5 lakhs.
• Students in NVS, KVS, Sainik schools, and private schools cannot apply for this NMMS scholarship.

NMMS Jharkhand 2024-25 Application Process

• Application forms for Jharkhand NMMS exam are accepted online mode.
• The Jharkhand student registration period for NMMS scholarships for the 2024–2025 academic year is tentatively scheduled to commence in October or November.
• To complete the Jharkhand NMMS form, students can go to the official website at jac.jharkhand.gov.in/jac/.
• After submitting the application cost, students must have to submit a copy of their Jharkhand NMMS application form.
• They must provide the form’s printout and copies of the necessary paperwork to the school whose information the student provided on the application form so that it can be forwarded to the district’s D.E.O.
• Candidates will receive an email notification as soon as the D.E.O. approves or rejects their application, as applicable.
