You must be enrolled full-time in a PhD program for the period of the fellowship in order to be eligible. Employees of Google and their close relatives are not eligible to apply. Additionally, students who have previously been the recipients of comparable industry-sponsored awards—aside from government or nonprofit funding—are not eligible.

  • Australia & New Zealand: Open to PhD students in their first or second year.
