Infosys Scholarship 2025 : A scholarship launched by Infosys Foundation in August 2023, targeting underprivileged Indian girls pursuing STEM undergraduate degrees at NIRF-accredited institutions like IITs, NITs, BITS‑Pilani, and top medical colleges

Eligibility Criteria for Infosys Scholarship

To be eligible for Infosys Scholarship an applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicant must be an Indian female citizen
  • Applicants must have completed their 12th.
  • First-year enrolment in a 3–5 year STEM or medical program, including BTech, BSc, MBBS, BPharm, BDS, Integrated Masters, or Dual Degree
  • Annual family income of the applicant should be not more than ₹8 lakh
  • Admission to a NIRF-listed institute (top ranked in the relevant field)
  • For renewals:
    • In engineering/other STEM: CGPA ≥ 7
    • In MBBS: passing all subjects
  • Not holding any other scholarship covering the same expenses

Note: Girls who will be taking admission in engineering and medical courses in government colleges not listed in the NIRF rankings can also apply.

Benefits of Infosys Scholarship

Selected applicants will receive a scholarship of up to ₹1,00,000 per year. This scholarship covers actual academic costs such as living expenses, including hostel/mess charges, tuition fees, study materials & books.

Documents Required for Infosys Scholarship

There are a few necessary documents that the applicants must keep with them while filling the Infosys Scholarship application form. The candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents to complete their application process:

  • Recent passport‑size photograph
  • Class 12 marksheet & passing certificate
  • JEE Main / CET / NEET scorecard (for engineering, medicine, integrated programs)
  • Government-issued ID proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, or PAN)
  • Proof of current year admission (fee receipt, admission letter, institution ID card, or bonafide certificate)
  • Family income proof (income certificate issued by government authority, BPL card, or Ayushman Bharat card)
  • Bank account details (bank passbook copy or canceled cheque)
  • Electricity bills for the past 6 months are to be provided as an additional supporting document
  • Receipts of academic-related expenses such as course fees, hostel fees, mess fees, stationery, books, etc.

  • Login to Buddy4Study with your registered ID and you will be directed to the ‘Application Form Page’.
    • If not registered, please register at Buddy4Study with your email/mobile number/Gmail account.
  • You will be redirected to the ‘Infosys Foundation STEM Stars Scholarship Program 2025-26’ application form page.
  • Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
  • Fill in the required details in the online application form.
  • Upload relevant documents.
  • Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’. 
  • If all the details appearing on the preview screen are correct, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
