SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2025-26
The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Overseas Education 2024-25, one of India’s largest scholarship programs, is an initiative of the SBI Foundation under its education vertical – Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). This program aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families across India, ensuring the continuity of their education. This scholarship is open to SC/ST students pursuing a master’s or postgraduate course (any year) at a premier university/college outside India.
Selected students can receive a scholarship of up to INR 20 lakh for a year to support their educational endeavors.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be citizens of India.
- Applicants must be members of the Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Scheduled Caste (SC) groups.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a top university or college outside of India for a master’s degree or higher, in any year.
- Students must have completed their prior academic year with at least 75% of the possible points.
- Students apply if their family’s gross annual income is up to INR 6,00,000.
NOTE:
- Those at the top of reputable international rankings, such as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and the QS World University Rankings, shall be considered premier institutions and colleges outside of India.
- Students whose families earn up to INR 3,000,000 annually will be given preference.
- SC/ST scholars will have exclusive access to all available spots for international education.

Application Process

- Login to Buddy4Study with your registered ID and land on the ‘Application Form Page.’
- If not registered, register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile/Google account.
- You will now be redirected to the ‘SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Overseas Education 2024-25’ application form page.
- Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process, fill in the required details in the online application form, and upload relevant documents.
- Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
- If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
