Telangana Overseas Scholarship for Minorities 2025 [Upto 20 Lakh] The Telangana Overseas Scholarship for Minorities is an initiative by the Government of Telangana aimed at providing financial assistance to students from minority communities to pursue postgraduate and doctoral studies abroad. The selected applicant recieves scholarship of upto 20 lakhs or as per admission letter whichever is less. The students who are interested to study in USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, France and South Korea are eligible to apply for this scholarship,

Eligibility Criteria for Telangana Overseas Scholarship for Minorities 2025

To be eligible for Telangana Overseas Scholarship for Minorities the applicant must meet the following requirements:

• The applicant must be a resident of Telangana.
• The applicant must belong to the minority community(Muslims,Christians,Sikhs,Buddhists,Parsi and Jain)
• The applicants taking admission in these countries USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, France and South Korea are eligible for the scholarship
• The age limit for applicant is that the applicant should exceed 35 years as of 1st July of the year.
• Only one child from a family is eligible.
• The awardee cannot be considered for the second or subsequent times as the individual can be awarded only once in a lifetime.
• The applicant should have a valid TOEFL/IELTS & GRE/GMAT.
• The applicant should have obtained admission to an accredited Foreign University.
• The applicant should have a valid Passport.
• Annual Family income of the applicant should be less than ₹5 lakhs per annum from all sources.
• The applicant must have scored 60% or equivalent grade in previous qualifying examination.
