The Tata Pankh Capital Scholarship aims to empower and support students from economically weaker backgrounds in their pursuit of higher education. The Tata Pankh Capital Scholarship aims to empower meritorious students who belong to economically weaker sections of the society. This Tata Pankh Capital scholarship is offered by Tata Capital Limited, a financial services company of Tata Group, as part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative. 

Eligibility Criteria

The Tata Pankh Capital Scholarship invites applications from students of Sr. Secondary, Undergraduate,
Diploma and Post Graduate courses. Students who wish to apply for the Tata Pankh Scholarship
program
have to meet the following criteria:

  • The annual income of the student’s family should not exceed INR 2,50,000 from all sources.
  • Assessment will be based on percentage achieved in the qualifying examination which should be at least 60%.
  • Applicants will be evaluated based on an interview – students who clear the telephonic interview will be shortlisted for the final committee round.
  • Children of employees of Tata Capital and Buddy4Study are not eligible.
  • Must be enrolled in Classes 11 and 12 in a recognized institution in India.
  • Must have scored at least 60% in the previous class.
  • Annual family income should be less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakhs. (must not exceeding INR 2.5 lakhs)

  • Must be enrolled in undergraduate degree programs (e.g., B.Com, B.Sc, BBA) or diploma/polytechnic courses in recognized institutions in India.
  • Must have scored at least 60% in Class 12.
  • Annual family income should be less than or equal to INR 4 lakhs.
  • Must be enrolled in professional undergraduate degree programs (e.g., Engineering, Medical, Law) in recognized institutions in India.
  • Must have scored at least 60% in Class 12.
  • Annual family income should be less than or equal to INR 4 lakh.
Benefits
  • Up to 80% of course fees paid by the student or up to INR 10,000 (whichever is less).

Eligible applicants have the opportunity to receive scholarships covering up to 80% of their tuition fees or a monetary grant ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 12,000, depending on the course of study and financial need.

Tata Capital’s employees are also part of the Pankh Scholarship Program wherein students are mentored and nurtured to succeed in their chosen field.

The last date to submit applications for the Tata Pankh Capital Scholarship Program is 15th September, 2024

Documents Required for TATA Pankh Scholarship 2024

  • Aadhar card of the applicant
  • Passport-sized photograph of the applicant
  • Proof of admission in school or college
  • Income certificate of the family
  • Passbook or cancelled cheque book of the applicant (for scholarship disbursement)
  • ­10th and 12th class mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Reservation certificate if applicable
