Eligibility Criteria for Unnati Scholarship
To be eligible for Unnati Scholarship the applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Students must be permanent residents of Delhi, Noida, or Gurgaon (Gurugram) .
- Studying in classes 8, 9, or 10, or enrolled in 1st year of a Diploma or ITI program.
- Must be actively studying and continuing in the same course .
Note :Extra preference is given to students whose family members lost employment due to the COVID‑19 pandemic. Have lost a parent or earning family member since January 2020, or Covid-19.
Benefits of Unnati Scholarship
- ₹12,000 per year for students in classes 8–10, for up to 3 years
- ₹18,000 per year for 1st-year Diploma or ITI students, for up to 2 years
- Funds are designated solely for academic expenses — covers tuition fees, uniforms, books, stationery, Internet charges, and online learning tools

Documents Required for Unnati Scholarship
There are a few necessary documents that the applicants must keep with them while filling the Unnati Scholarship application form. The candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents to complete their application process:
- Mark sheet of the most recent class or semester for proof of ongoing education .
- Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license, or PAN card as Identity Proof
- Fee receipt, admission letter, institutional ID card, or bonafide certificate.
- Death certificate of parent or proof of job loss, especially if the family was impacted by COVID‑19 or faced loss since Jan 2020 .
- Applicant’s (or parent’s) bank information, such as a passbook copy or canceled cheque.
- Passport-sized photograph of the applicant .
- Details of two referees (e.g., teacher, government official) confirming the family’s crisis situation .
